D-DIMER

P.N. 1418-1180

PURPOSE

Immunoturbidimetric reagent for the quantification of D-Dimer concentration with automated chemistry analyzers.

REACTION PRINCIPLE

When the sample is mixed with the appropriate buffer (R1) and latex particles coated with antibodies against D-Dimer (R2), D-Dimer reacts with the antibodies leading to agglutination of latex particles. This agglutination is detected as turbidity change (570 nm) and it is proportional to D-Dimer concentration in the sample.

CHARACTERISTICS

Liquid, stable, ready to-use two reagent system, eliminating reagent preparation and reconstitution errors.

Accurate results using 5-point calibration

Shelf life: 12 months @ 2-8oC

On-Board Stability: 30 days

Calibration frequency: 14 days

Sample: citrate-plasma

Prozone Tolerance: No hook effect was observed up to 100 μg/ml

Detection limit: 0.08 μg/ml

Quantification limit: 0.09 μg/ml

Linearity: 0.09-8 μg/ml
